Assessment Method

NABH’s qualified assessment team — comprising a clinician and healthcare administrator — conducts on-site visits, patient and staff interviews, and facility tours covering infrastructure, equipment, security, and infection control. The assessment is guided by four cardinal principles: sound system-based organisation, full implementation of NABH standards, patient safety as a core value owned at all levels, and a structured continuous quality improvement programme.
